Your boxes — what we supply
- Built for the job — our archive cartons are double-walled, wax-lined, and made to stack and last. We supply them, already coded.
- Already in other boxes? — we'll repack your records into ours as part of setup, included in your quote.
- Prefer to pack yourself? — ask for flat-packs, fill them at your pace, and we'll collect them.
Tracking and returning your boxes
Every box gets a unique number and shelf location code. You keep a simple record of what's in each one — your own spreadsheet, or use Docu-Store record sheets and filing cards we supply.
On our side, we record the box number, the date it comes in, any time it moves, and a destruction date if you've set one — but never the contents.
So when you need a file, you find it on your own record, email us the box number, and we bring it back. What's inside always stays confidential to you.

When your records reach the end of their life
When a box reaches its destruction date — often seven years from lodgement, to meet IRD requirements — your six-monthly report flags it and asks if you'd like it dealt with. Nothing is ever destroyed without your written approval, given by someone on your authorised list. Or, if you'd rather, we'll simply return your records to you.
